Dashwire Mobile displays error message that reads, "Not supported. Each Dashwire account can only be used with 1 phone."
- Resolution: Download the latest Dashwire Mobile client (Build 299 or later) from http://m.dashwire.com that supports moving from phone to phone, or managing connecting after a device reset.
Content (messages, calls, videos, ringtones, internet favorites) may not upload during initial sync, or in case of messages or calls, on first receipt to phone after install.
- Affects: Motorola Q9m, Alltel PPC6800, Sprint PPC 6700, Sprint Touch, Palm Treo 750/V, O2 Xda Orbit, T-Mobile SDA, T-Mobile MDA Compact III
- Resolution: After Dashwire installation and initial sync, power off and on the device, or perform a soft reset on a Windows Mobile touch screen device and sync again to get messages and calls to upload.
Device may fail to connect to Dashwire via HTTPs during sign-in, even though you can browse the web without issue.
- Affects: Samsung i760, Cingular 8125 (running Windows Mobile 6), eTen x500, Palm Treo 700w, Verizon XV6700, T-Mobile MDA
- Resolution: None at the moment - we are exploring solution.

- Affects: Sprint Q, possibly other Sprint devices
- Resolution: None at the moment. This is an issue related to the Sprint build for the Motorola Q (updates MOL2 through MOL4) that includes an “@” symbol between every letter.
Signing in from the phone with phone number doesn’t allow you to connect.
- Resolution: Open Dashwire Mobile on the phone and select Menu » Change User. Enter your user name instead of phone number along with password and connect.
Initial sync fails part way through the process and exits the program.
- Affects: Cingular 3125, Samsung BlackJack, Sprint Touch, Sprint PPC 6800 (Mogul)
- Resolution: There are two possible causes for this: text messages or speed dials
1) For users with lots of text messages (SMS) on their device, we have had a couple beta users report that the sync failed during message upload during initial sync. Please download the latest Dashwire Mobile build from http://m.dashwire.com to resolve the issue. If this does not resolve the issue, the work around is to uncheck Messages in the Options on Dashwire Mobile and perform an Update Now.
2) To work around the second issue around speed dials, Open Dashwire Mobile and select Menu » Stop Update. Select Menu » Options and check the checkbox that says Choose information to sync. Uncheck Speed Dials and press Done. Then select Menu » Update Now

App does not show up in the start menu
- Affects: AT&T Tilt

Dashwire closes automatically and is not running in the background
- Affects: Palm Treo 700w, Palm Treo 700wx
- Resolution: The Treo 700 series has limited memory and is constantly closing applications to maintain as much free memory on the phone as possible. Users can run Dashwire, but will have to continue to keep the application open for the service to work properly.
Contacts get duplicated
- Affects: Exchange Sync/Outook or Plaxo Mobile sync
- Resolution: There is no issue syncing your contacts with Dashwire and Exchange/Outlook, just make sure you have synced with Exchange/Outlook first, and then add Dashwire. Changes made to Exchange/Outlook are updated on Dashwire and vice versa. We are exploring the Plaxo Mobile sync compatibility.
Contact changes on Dashwire.com do not save and show up on your phone
- Affects: Dashwire Mobile is not connected, or is currently in the state of Looking for Changes or in full sync (noted by the progress bar in Dashwire Mobile). The current sync architecture lets the phone serve as the "master" meaning the server takes commands from the phone in a situation where the mobile client isn't on. This will be updated in the future to allow users to make changes on Dashwire.com when the phone is off/Dashwire Mobile isn't connected, and update when the phone is reconnected with changes from the server.
- Resolution: Make sure Dashwire Mobile is running on your phone, or in the case of the state being in Looking for Changes, please wait until it indicates your phone is in sync.
